Enrique R.L. is an aspiring educator passionate about helping young people embrace their identities. Originally from the Dominican Republic, he experienced firsthand the challenges of adapting to a new country and language. Inspired by his own journey, Enrique created a Spanish curriculum and has taught more than 40 younger Club members. As Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s 2026-2027 National Youth of the Year, he serves as a spokesperson for America’s youth. Now a freshman at the University of Florida, Enrique is pursuing his goal of becoming an elementary school teacher.
