Emmanuella Odu

CAU '29

Hi! My name is Emmanuella Odu, and I’m a first-year student at Clark Atlanta University majoring in Biology. I’m also part of the Honors Program and excited to continue growing academically while pursuing my career in healthcare. Before college, I earned my Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license, which allowed me to get hands-on experience in the medical field early on. That experience, combined with my time in the Healthcare Careers Pathway, has fueled my passion for serving others and set the foundation for my future in healthcare.

Outside of academics, I love being involved in different communities and organizations. In high school, I volunteered with the REACH Program under the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, competed in Debate Team for two years, and ran track all the way to Regionals. I was also active in Dance Team, Black Student Union, and Be The Voice Club, while serving as a Peer Leader and Teacher’s Assistant in multiple subjects. These experiences taught me how to balance leadership, creativity, and teamwork-skills I continue to carry with me at college.

When I’m not studying or getting involved on campus, you’ll usually find me blogging on my site, Raves by Ella, listening to music, hanging out with my friends or exploring fashion and beauty trends. I also enjoy writing about student life, wellness, and social justice—topics that inspire me and that I’m excited to share here on Her Campus. I hope my articles give readers a mix of useful tips, thoughtful perspectives, and a reminder that you’re never alone in your journey through college and beyond.
