I am currently a Political Science and American Government major at Louisiana State University. Originally from Virginia, I moved to Louisiana for college and have loved the experience of growing both academically and personally in a new environment. I am 19 years old (almost 20), and I would describe myself as outgoing, bubbly, and someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with others. My academic interests focus on government systems, political institutions, and the impact policy has on everyday life. I am especially interested in how leadership and public service can create meaningful change within communities.
In addition to my academics, I am a women’s lacrosse player. Being a student-athlete has played a huge role in shaping who I am. Lacrosse has taught me discipline, resilience, teamwork, and strong time-management skills. Balancing practices, games, travel, and coursework requires commitment and focus, and I take pride in being able to give my best effort both on the field and in the classroom. The sport has also given me some of my closest friendships and has helped me grow as a leader.
Outside of school and athletics, creativity is a huge part of my life. I have loved fashion and art for as long as I can remember. I enjoy painting, listening to music, and writing as ways to express myself. I love exploring personal style and seeing fashion as both art and identity. Writing has always been one of my favorite forms of expression, whether academic or personal, because it allows me to share my perspective and tell stories. Overall, I strive to combine my academic goals, athletic dedication, and creative passions into a life that is both purposeful and expressive.
