My name is Ella Bissaillon and I am a first-year student at the UMass Amherst majoring in communications! I from Cheshire Massachusetts, and graduated from a small high school called Hoosac Valley.
My passion is photography and creative media. I began exploring photography in 2024 after receiving my first camera and I've since photographed sports, portraits, couples, events, ect. I especially enjoys the creative process behind photography, from planning a shoot to editing the final images. Since coming to UMass, I have been interested in finding new opportunities to combine photography, writing, social media, and other forms of creative communication.
When i'm not studying or taking photos I love spending time with my family and friends, listening to music, and finding new creative projects to work on. I also really love being involved in my community and meeting people with different experiences and perspectives. During my time at UMass, I hope to continue developing both my academic and creative interests while becoming more involved on campus.
