Diadelys Batalla Larrazábal is a writer and junior editor for Her Campus UPR. She enjoys editing and writing articles about books, movies, music, personal experiences, history, and social commentary.
She is currently an undergraduate student majoring in Journalism at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. She dreams of working in Puerto Rico’s local television industry as a news producer. During her senior year at Colegio Bautista de Caguas, she served as the Island Historian for the National Honor Society of Puerto Rico for the 2025–2026 term, where she developed her skills in content creation and social media management. Her love of music also led her to join her school’s handbell choir and band.
Most of the time, you will find her holding a book or her Kindle, diving headfirst into stories with her earphones in, listening to 80s music or white-noise ambience. When she’s in the mood, she’ll plug in her bass guitar and practice a few songs. During her free time, she enjoys drawing, painting on canvas, and writing her novel manuscript while daydreaming about publishing her stories someday.
