Claire Harris is a writer at the Her Campus at UVA chapter. She writes trendy, humorous, and informative articles for her fellow students, with a focus on everyday college life. She aims to write pieces that are entertaining and useful, whether that means a lighthearted take on a campus trend or a practical guide for navigating college.
Beyond Her Campus, Claire is a member of GIS at UVA, a business fraternity, where she is completing a seven-week analyst program covering financial evaluation, risk management, and professional development. She is also on the social teams for the Tennis Club and the Pickleball Club. Claire began writing as a contributor to the Life section of her high school magazine, and she has continued writing in college. She is currently a first-year at the University of Virginia and plans to major in English with a minor in Spanish. She is still exploring her career interests and is open to where her studies and experiences lead.
Outside of her commitments, Claire enjoys playing tennis and pickleball, skiing, and needlepointing. She is also a big fan of true crime documentaries and is always looking for a new one to watch, so recommendations are welcome.
