Chelsea Perard

Chelsea Perard is a Criminal Justice major at Bowie State University with aspirations of becoming either a Criminal Defense Attorney or a Criminal Psychologist. Passionate about justice, advocacy, and understanding human behavior, Chelsea is driven to make a meaningful impact within the legal system. She is particularly interested in the intersection of psychology and criminal law and hopes to build a career centered on fairness, critical thinking, and helping others navigate complex legal challenges.

Beyond the classroom, Chelsea is deeply committed to youth mentorship and leadership. She works as a summer camp counselor for children ages 4–16, where she creates engaging, supportive environments that encourage growth and confidence. In addition, she serves as a flag football counselor and swim instructor, teaching teamwork, discipline, and foundational athletic skills. Through these roles, Chelsea has developed strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to lead with both empathy and authority.

Outside of her academic and professional life, Chelsea brings energy and personality to everything she does. She has a passion for dance and enjoys expressing herself creatively through movement. She is also intrigued by competitive food culture, especially Major League Eating. Motivated, vibrant, and determined, Chelsea approaches her goals with confidence and resilience.
