Charlotte Rajšić is a third year music performance major at Carleton University. Charlotte grew up in Ottawa, and began learning piano early in her education. At the start of 2024, she joined Carleton’s vibrant music program where she began her studies in classical flute performance. Charlotte is heavily involved in Ottawa’s music scene, singing in and playing at small venues as well as holding membership in multiple ensembles in the city, including the National Capital Concert Band and the Carleton University Choir. Since 2024, Charlotte has been training in the musical practice of choral conducting, rehearsing with the university choir and working a few short-term directing jobs in the city. She is also an active volunteer at Chamberfest and other Ottawa music organizations in her quest to keep the classical tradition alive.
Charlotte has always had a passion for writing, and enjoys sharing meaningful stories and events that draw attention to Ottawa’s fine arts. She believes in supporting others and their endeavours, especially young artists. She also loves teaching and caring for children.
