I’m a student at San Diego State University who loves storytelling, media, and all the ways creativity brings people together. I’m majoring in journalism which basically means I get to combine my love for writing with my obsession for music, pop culture, and all things entertainment. College has been teaching me the ins and outs of media, but also showing me how student voices can really spark conversations on and off campus.
Before SDSU, I was part of my high school’s video production club, where I learned how to film, edit, and put together stories that made people pay attention. Now, I’m diving into opportunities with student media like the newspaper, magazine, and radio station to keep sharpening my skills. My dream is to take all of that and turn it into a career in entertainment journalism, especially covering concerts, interviewing artists, and working behind the scenes at shows.
When I’m not in class or chasing deadlines, you can usually find me at a concert. Live music is my happy place, and honestly, my Instagram highlights double as my resume (half-joking, but also not really). They’re filled with clips of shows, events, and little pieces of life that keep me inspired. Joining Her Campus is another way for me to share those passions. I love writing stories that feel as fun and relatable as an electronic album (BRAT) and as energetic as a packed concert crowd.
