My name is Caroline, and I am a pre-Commerce student with a strong interest in finance and business leadership. At home, I work at a local boutique (which I LOVE), and I’ve been working and saving for as long as I can remember. Since opening my first stock portfolio at fifteen, I’ve been passionate about investing and personal finance. I love reading financial news and following market trends.
Community service is also central to who I am. I’ve been student teaching and tutoring elementary school children with mental disabilities since I was thirteen, and in doing so I’ve really discovered my passion for helping others. I also love to cook and bake (especially for my friends and family!), play pickleball, try new coffee shops, do crossword puzzles, run and lift, and collage.
My favorite topic to talk—and write—about, however, is health and wellness. My friends joke that I’m a “crunchy mom” in the making, and I’d honestly have to agree. I’ve been intrigued by healthy lifestyles for years, but when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, I really dove in. What started with Instagram reels and the occasional New York Times article quickly grew into reading scientific reports as my nightly bedtime stories.
I find the human body endlessly fascinating and believe deeply in the connection between mind, body, and soul. To me, surviving, healing, and growing are among life’s most important pursuits, and I strive each day to nurture them with my full attention, care, and compassion.
