Hi! My name is Camille Dornellas. I'm from Brazil and in my first year at UTM studying in the ICCIT program. I want to do a double major in Professional Writing and Communication and Political Science (let's see what happens along the way).
I have always loved writing and everything that comes with it. It's been a huge part of my life ever since I can remember. I started with silly little poems. Roses are red, violets are blue, kind of stuff. While I got older, my writing evolved into a more elaborate reflective style (or it got more weird, some might say). But beyond just putting words on paper, one thing that has become my whole personality is reading. In dark times of my life, books played the role of a safe space for me. So if you want to ramble about a book you've read? I'm your girl. My GOAT author without a doubt is the Brazilian Machado de Assis, that man was a genius!
Also, since I was a child, feminist topics have appealed to me. So, when I grew up and started to develop a greater critical thinking ability, it was no surprise to find out that I had turned into a die-hard women's rights advocate. Is saying "girls run the world" cringe now? No idea. But I think women are incredible, and the strongest people I know are girls.
