Hi, My name is Caitlyn Mckeown. Throughout my life, I have lived in Delaware county, Delaware, and West Chester. In high school, I worked as the social media manager and recruitment executive for my school’s Model UN club. Through this position, I developed skills in marketing and event organization as well as my ability to work and collaborate with others.
Currently, I’m a freshman at West Chester University where I’m studying Media and culture. Eventually, I would like to pick a minor, but I’m not exactly sure what it will be. I’ve always been passionate about writing and interested in media so with my degree I plan to pursue a career in public relations.
One of my favorite things to do is write. Ever since I was little I’ve loved to tell stories. Whether it was playing out detailed and dramatic storylines with my barbies or putting on poorly written plays with my friends. As I’ve grown up, I’ve learned that the best way for me to tell my stories is to write them. I also love to read and talk about books with people. I’ve been reading since I can remember and my current favorite book is Bunny by Mona Awad.
