Hi! My name is Brooke Garcia and I’m a freshman at Bucknell University from New Canaan, Connecticut, and my intended major is Psychology. I’ve always been really interested in people, relationships, and why we think and act the way we do. I’m excited to get involved around campus, meet new people, and make the most of the college experience.
Writing has always been one of my favorite ways to be creative, so I’m considering minoring in Journalism. I love writing about things that feel relatable—from college life, friendships, and relationships to pop culture, and TV. I’m especially excited about Her Campus because I love the idea of combining my interest in psychology with my love of storytelling and writing.
When I’m not in class, you can probably find me hanging out with my friends, going on a walk, shopping, finding cute coffee spots, listening to music, or starting a new TV show that I’ll inevitably binge. I’m always taking pictures, discovering new places, and looking for something fun to do, and I’m so excited to meet other writers and contribute to the Her Campus community at Bucknell!
