UIC '28

Brianna Southall is an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), majoring in Biological Sciences with a Pre-Med track. She is determined to become a pediatric hematologist to help children and adolescents manage their illnesses, especially since she herself has Sickle Cell Disease. Brianna aims to inspire others to understand that their condition does not define them and encourages everyone to live life to the fullest while pursuing their dreams.

Outside of her academic pursuits, Brianna volunteers at hospitals on weekends, where she brings joy to children in the Emergency Room by providing toys and coloring packs. She also enjoys attending church, where she helps with setup and cleanup to ensure that guests feel welcomed and engaged.

In addition to her volunteer work, Brianna loves to dance. Whether performing with a dance company or just having fun in her bedroom, she has been dancing since she was three years old. She enjoys exploring the city with her friends.

Brianna has a creative side that she expresses through painting, jewelry making, and various arts and crafts, including DIY projects. In her leisure time, she enjoys watching a variety of TV series, anime, and movies. She also loves baking, working out, collecting vinyl records, and shopping.
