Hi, I’m Azaria Ferrer! I’m a Communication major at ODU concentrating in Strategic Communication & Journalism with a minor in Marketing. I’m also the Culture Editor for Her Campus at ODU! I’ve always loved anything that gives me an excuse to be creative.
Before finding my way to communications, I’ve worked as a photographer, spent time in community organizing, and have probably started more creative projects than I can count. I love to deep dive on cultural topics and create discussion around them! Eventually, I’d love to work in media, marketing, or entertainment.
Outside of school and work, I’m usually thrifting, reading, taking photos, trying a new coffee shop, at a yoga class, or watching the latest indie movie. I live by the philosophy of romanticizing everyday and expressing your most authentic self in the process. I'm also almost always carrying my journal, a camera, and a book I swear I’m going to finish. Through Her Campus, I’m excited to explore culture in all its forms!
