Avery is an incoming chapter member at the Her Campus Carleton University Chapter and an enthusiastic about writing and reporting on arts, culture, music and sports. She is passionate about advocating for women's rights. Avery expresses herself through her writing and is eager to bring her creativity and work to Her Campus Carleton.
Avery is a first-year student working towards a Bachelor of Journalism, where she will expand her knowledge in writing and reporting. In high school, she was a member of her school's newspaper for four years, serving as senior editor in her final year. In addition to the newspaper, she worked as an executive photographer for her school's athletic council.
Aside from writing, Avery enjoys listening to music, playing sports, attending concerts and spending time exploring new places.
