I am a junior at Rowan University majoring in Advertising, with a growing interest in the creative and strategic sides of the advertising industry. Through my coursework, I have been developing an understanding of advertising, marketing, communication, and the ways brands connect with their audiences. My education at Rowan has given me opportunities to strengthen my communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills while learning more about the different career paths available within the advertising field. As I continue through my undergraduate education, I am looking forward to gaining more experience and applying what I have learned in real-world settings.
As an advertising major, I am especially interested in the creative process behind developing campaigns and finding new ways to communicate ideas effectively. I enjoy learning about how advertisements can influence the way people view brands and how different forms of media can be used to reach specific audiences. I am also interested in developing my skills in areas such as writing, branding, social media, and campaign development. My goal is to continue building a strong foundation throughout college that will prepare me for a career in the advertising and communications industry.
Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, exploring new interests, and making time for the things that keep me motivated and inspired. I value creativity, collaboration, and opportunities to learn from new experiences. Being a junior has allowed me to become more confident in my academic and professional interests while giving me a clearer idea of the direction I want to take after graduation. I am excited to continue growing as a student, developing my professional skills, and preparing for the next step in my career.
