Hi! My name is Ava Keamy and I’m a junior at Merrimack College majoring in Early Childhood Education. I’m really passionate about working with kids and creating fun, supportive learning environments. I was a part of Jumpstart, where I helped young children build their language and literacy skills, and I’m also a member of the Honors Program. On campus, I play the flute in the marching and pep bands, which has been such a great way to meet people and share school spirit. Being in the band has given me the chance to perform at football, hockey, and basketball games, which is always so much fun. One of my favorite memories was traveling with the band to Ireland for the Friendship Four hockey tournament. I’m so grateful for the friendships and experiences it’s brought into my life. I love being creative, staying organized, and finding ways to make a difference. I’m so excited to be part of Her Campus and can’t wait to share my journey!
