Ava Fishkind

My name is Ava Fishkind and I am going into my Sophomore year at Syracuse university. This club directly stood out to me once my friend published this onto social media. Social media has its negatives and positives but I see it such as a positive. I have been able to get inspired by those who vlog there life, and my favorite part showing off there outfits of the day.
Social media took an influence on me when I started working in retail at south moon under for two years. Working in retail required a lot of work and creativity, this is why I am so excited to be apart of this team. Working together as a team and throwing ideas out is the best way to come up with the number one eye grabber. When people go on social media they want to be influenced, they want to know why this product or this clothing is better then xyz. Working in retail I was able to compel the buyers and show them why this outfit would go with this, or when they can wear this and how.
One of my favorite influences on social media would have to be Alix Earle and the reason so is because she promotes brands without being fake. She gives her honest and genuine opinion and that is was the fans who watch her value. When you look at other influencers who are clearly just doing it for the fame or to get something out of it, the audience can tell and recognize that the product may not be worth purchasing.
I can't not wait to be apart of this team and grow as a indivual and learn more about the social media world!
