April Murguia is a social work major at California State University, Chico. She grew up in Los Angeles, but has always felt drawn to places with trees, fresh air, and open skies—which is one of the reasons she chose Chico. Nature has a way of calming her, inspiring her, and giving her space to think, read, and write.
April is passionate about using her writing to connect with others. She hopes that her words can resonate with readers who think or feel the way she does. For her, writing is more than just a hobby—it’s a way to reach people, express herself, and build connection through stories and ideas.
