Ansley Harris

Hi! My name is Ansley, and I am from Williamsburg, VA! I am a first year student at UVA, and I plan to major in Psychology. This will be my first experience with journalism, and I am so excited!

Her Campus is a new interest of mine, but I am grateful for the chance to be a part of this community. Being able to voice opinions as woman is a privilege in many spaces. Although this should be a right for everyone, I am grateful to have this outlet to share my thoughts and opinions on a variety of topics. This group of women is incredibly talented and I am more than honored to work alongside them. The whole purpose of Her Campus is to amplify female voices, and I am excited to work towards this mission.

I love all things beauty related, like perfume and lip gloss, but I also have an interest in the political sphere. Gilmore Girls is my favorite TV show, and I adore a myriad of different artists. Taylor Swift, Gracie Abrams, Hozier, Phoebe Bridgers, Sabrina Carpenter, and Steve Lacy are some of my favorites. My favorite season is winter because I love Christmas time and snow.
