Annia Guindín Orama (they/them) is a writer for Her Campus at UPR. They are interested in many topics, but are particularly passionate about pop culture, video games, campus life and how politics affects people on the daily.
Annia is an undergraduate student, studying Technical Theatre and Film Production under the Interdisciplinary Student Program. They have two film credits and have worked backstage in various productions ("As You Like It", "Troades", and "Te Amo Mija" among them) as both technician and designer. They hope to do a second concentration in Art, as to strengthen their designs. A true interdisciplinary student, Annia has also worked as assistant teacher, an archivist, a librarian, an usher, and a video editor. They are currently learning Japanese and Portuguese, but are not yet good at either.
Annia is a sucker for all things comics, and will often spend time pouring over panels. They've been online for a long time and have been in the Tumblr trenches for longer than is probably healthy. They enjoy listening to all kinds of music and playing The Sims 2. They have a devious little cat and like soup so very much. Their current favorite is French Onion.
