Hi! I'm Anakah and I am from Grand Rapids, MI and I am a first year communications and media major. I am excited to see where my college experience takes me and to learn more about this field. I am also looking forward to making new friends, trying new things, and creating great memories throughout the next four years.
Outside of school, I love staying active and spending time with the people I care about. I have played volleyball and softball all four years of high school, and I still enjoy playing both sports recreationally. I also love going to the gym and finding different ways to stay active. I also love being outside, that could be hiking, laying out in the sun, snowboarding, or just sitting somewhere chill and reading a good book. I also love spending time with my friends no matter what we're doing. A few of my favorite things are pasta, Gilmore Girls, Harry Potter, taking naps, and Marvel.
One of my biggest goals is to hopefully have a career that allows me to travel and possibly live internationally someday. I think it would be really exciting to experience life somewhere completely different and meet people from all over the world. I am excited to see where my education, career, and new experiences take me!
