Hi! I'm Amritha, a third-year student at McMaster University specializing in Physiology Research. While most of my academic life revolves around science and understanding the human body, I've always had a passion for writing, creativity, and storytelling. I've never really seen myself as someone who fits into just one category, and I love finding ways to explore both my analytical and creative sides. To me, writing is a way to express my thoughts, reflect on my experiences, and connect with people who might be going through something similar.
Outside of academics, I'm a content creator with a love for all things beauty, lifestyle, and self-expression. Through social media, I've found a creative outlet where I can share pieces of my everyday life, experiment with different styles of content, and connect with people who share similar interests. I'm also the creator and host of The Lucky Girl Guide, a podcast where I talk about all things wellness, lifestyle, self-help, and becoming the best version of yourself. Through my podcast, I hope to encourage conversations about personal growth, building confidence, and finding happiness in the little things. Whether it's creating content online, recording a podcast episode, or writing, I love using different platforms to share my thoughts and connect with others.
When I'm not studying or creating content, you'll probably find me listening to Taylor Swift, Gracie Abrams, or Lana Del Rey, trying out a new skincare product, spending time with friends, or finding inspiration for my next creative project. As a first-generation Canadian, my experiences with culture and identity have also shaped the way I see the world and the stories I want to share. Through Her Campus, I'm excited to explore everything from beauty and relationships to university life, personal growth, and everything in between. More than anything, I hope my writing feels like a conversation with a friend: genuine, relatable, and a reflection of the experiences that connect us.
