I am a junior Biology major at Spelman College with a strong interest in exploring career paths that blend science with creativity. While my academic foundation is rooted in biology, I have always been curious about how science shows up in everyday life beyond traditional lab settings. My experiences at Spelman have encouraged me to think broadly about my future and to embrace interdisciplinary interests that allow me to connect my passion for science with creative expression.
One field I am especially interested in is fragrance creation and marketing. I am fascinated by the way scent can evoke memories, tell stories, and influence how people feel and connect to brands. Learning more about the fragrance industry has shown me how biology and chemistry play an essential role in creating products that are both personal and impactful. I hope to pursue a career in this space where I can contribute to the development and marketing of fragrances that feel intentional, meaningful, and inclusive.
Through my involvement with Her Campus, I hope to continue exploring my interests while strengthening my voice as a writer and creative thinker. Being part of Her Campus allows me to engage with topics related to beauty, lifestyle, and career exploration, while also connecting with a community of motivated and supportive women. Outside of academics, I enjoy discovering new fragrances, keeping up with beauty trends, and finding creative ways to express myself.
