Amelia Alexander is a third year at Bowling Green State University studying political science and Spanish. On campus, Amelia spends her time involved in civic engagement and leadership as a student coordinator for the C. Raymond Marvin Center for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement. In this role she primarily focuses on BGSU Votes, a student-led, non-partisan initiative focused on increasing democratic engagement among college students.
Additionally, she enjoys volunteering at the Falcon Food Pantry, assisting students who face food insecurity. She is also the vice president of run club, a scholar of Sideny A. Ribeau's President's Leadership Academy, and a member of the honors college.
In her free time, she loves to go to the gym, play tennis, and spend time with friends and family. She also enjoys expressing herself through writing, which is why she decided to join Her Campus.
