Amber Andell is a freshman at Saint Louis University double majoring in Political Science and International Business. Originally drawn to the world of politics because of her curiosity about how the world works, Amber is the type of person who can easily fall down a rabbit hole of current events, political debates, and international news. She loves learning new things and believes there is always something new to discover, especially when it comes to politics, government, and the world beyond her own.
When she isn’t in class, Amber stays busy as a cheerleader at SLU and as a member of Gamma Phi Beta. Between cheering at games, making memories with her sorority sisters, and navigating freshman year, she is always looking for ways to get involved and make the most out of her college experience. She loves meeting new people, trying new things, and making the most of the little moments that make college so memorable.
Looking ahead, Amber hopes to explore the world of politics and eventually pursue a career in law. She is especially interested in understanding how politics, international business, and the legal system connect and influence the world around us. As a Her Campus writer, Amber is excited to bring her perspective to topics she is passionate about while also exploring the fun, relatable, and sometimes chaotic parts of college life. Whether she’s writing about politics, campus life, or navigating her first years of adulthood, Amber hopes her articles leave readers feeling informed, entertained, and maybe a little more curious about the world around them.
