Hi! My name is Amanda, and I am from a northern suburb of Chicago that is just south of the Wisconsin boarder. Currently, I am an undergraduate student majoring in Journalism with a Spanish minor. As of right now, I have no preferred form of reporting or a specific interest.
In my free time, I really love exploring the outdoors, taking hot-girl walks with my dog, Sandy, listening to music (my new current obsession is Role Model, but I will always and forever love Harry Styles), and spending quality time with my friends and family. Also, I love to try out new hobbies, watch all the popular TV shows/movies, and cook. While I am on campus, my favorite activities are going to sporting events, tailgating at Grange Grove, and cheering on the Fighting Illini! But I also love exploring campus and discovering the best spots to study, get coffee and food, and to people watch.
I also like to think that I am a very compassionate person. My two biggest passions in life are volunteering and advocating for the environment, people, and animals. From working at the food pantry to cleaning up litter around campus, I do whatever I can to help.
