Hi! My name is Alyssa Melocoton and I am a sophomore at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign studying advertising. I’ve always been drawn to creative work, especially graphic design, and I love finding ways to bring ideas to life visually. On campus, I’m involved in HerCampus, the American Advertising Federation, and Starcourse Concert Committee, where I get to combine my passion for design with marketing and content creation.
Graphic design is what excites me most, I love playing around with colors, typography, and layouts to create something that grabs people’s attention. Whether it’s making promotional materials for events or working on branding projects, I enjoy the challenge of turning concepts into something visually engaging. I’m always looking for new ways to improve my skills and stay inspired by the latest trends in advertising and design.
Outside of school and creative work, I love going to concerts, discovering new music, and just finding cool ways to express myself. In the future, I hope to use my skills to create meaningful, eye-catching campaigns that connect with people. For now, I’m just enjoying the process of learning, experimenting, and figuring out where my creativity can take me.
