Hi! I’m Alysia Gallagher, and I am so excited to be part of the team bringing HER Campus to UHSP! I’m 21 years old and currently navigating life as a Biomedical Sciences major on the pre-med track. My ultimate goal is to become an anesthesiologist—I’ve always been fascinated by the science behind patient care, and I love the challenge of a field where you have to stay sharp and precise under pressure.
I play defense for the UHSP Women’s Lacrosse team and have been the team captain for the past three years. Leading the team has been such a huge part of my college experience; it’s taught me how to keep everyone motivated and how to stay level-headed when a game gets intense. I’m definitely planning on taking that same "team-first" energy into my future career in medicine.
Since we’re just getting HER Campus at our school, I’m stepping into the role of Social Media Marketer to help build this community from scratch. I’ve always loved the creative side of digital media, and I’m really looking forward to using our platform to highlight what life is actually like for students here—from the academic grind to the athlete experience. I’m stoked to see where we can take this chapter and can’t wait to connect with more of you!
