Allie Zavagno

Hi! My name is Allie Zavagno and I'm currently in my second year at Dal. When I'm not in Halifax, I'm back at home in Toronto. I'm double majoring in Political Science and Sustainability and earning a minor in Journalism Studies at Kings! So far, I absolutely love it here and I've made lots of amazing friends and been awarded so many opportunities that I am so grateful for.

This year I've started working as a bartender/barista downtown and it's been amazing! When I'm not working or in class I love to spend my time reading, going on walks around the city, exploring new shops, and spending time with my roommates (who also happen to be my high school best friends!).

I am so happy that I chose to move to Nova Scotia and start something new. Nothing could have prepared me for the difficultly of that shift, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Hopefully you enjoy reading what I write just as much as I enjoy writing it!
