Hi, I'm Alice, a Second Year History Student at the University of Exeter. Through my degree, I have discovered untold perspectives and developed a fascination for unearthing neglected historical accounts. At the heart of my writing is a commitment to understanding and amplifying lived experiences, alongside exploring how the past continues to shape conversations around identity, culture, and representation today. As a platform written by and for women, Her Campus particularly appeals to me because it creates space for perspectives that are often relegated to the periphery. I want to ensure that women's voices are heard and valued.
Having previously taken part in debate and with a longstanding love of English, sustaining nuanced and creative arguments is a captivating challenge I particularly enjoy. Outside of my studies, I enjoy volunteering and exploring art, film, and creative expression, interests which often inspire my writing.
