Alexis Moutafis-Tymcio

Hi there, I'm Alexis (she/her)! I'm a 5th year student at McMaster University, working towards a degree in Software & Biomedical Engineering and a concurrent degree in Life Sciences. This is my first year as part of the Her Campus editorial team!

Outside of class, I loves reading both fiction (top 2 genres are fantasy + sci-fi!) and nonfiction (especially relating to tech and health). I love the performing arts; you can find me at concerts, musicals, and dance shows (sometimes watching, sometimes performing!) I'm also passionate about student advocacy and leadership; I've previously written reports and organized initiatives on the local, provincial, and national levels.

I'm excited to expand my creative skillset this year and work with such a diverse and talented group of women!
