My name is Alexia Morgan, and I am a Biology student at the University of Miami on the pre-medical track. I recently transitioned to the University of Miami after completing my Associate Degree through dual enrollment at Indian River State College. My academic interests are centered around biology, genetics, neurobiology, and medicine, and I am especially interested in learning how scientific discoveries can be applied to improve people’s lives. As I continue my education, I hope to gain experiences that will help me explore the medical field and determine where my interests can take me professionally.
