Alessandra Henriquez

Alessandra Henriquez is a social media content creator at the Her Campus chapter at Florida International University (FIU). She oversees the production of video content for the chapter's social media pages, including video recording, editing, and acting as on-screen talent.

In addition to her role at Her Campus, Alessandra serves as the Vice President of FIU's Korean Language Empowerment Club, where she leads a team of students to help organize educational and cultural events in Miami related to Korean language and culture. She is also an active contributor to Caplin News, FIU's student news organization, where she has published video stories on lifestyle and entertainment in South Florida and worked on the studio floor to produce the organization's morning news segment. Alessandra is currently a junior at FIU earning double degrees in Digital Arts and Digital Communications & Media: Multimedia Production, along with a minor in Art History and a certificate in Asian Studies.

In her free time, Alessandra likes to experiment with creating artwork in different mediums, including charcoal, ink, and digital media such as digital drawing or experimental video. She also enjoys watching and listening to media across cultural boundaries, including K-Pop, K-Dramas, anime, Turkish soap operas, and more. She speaks English and Spanish and is currently learning Korean with hopes to become a polyglot in the future.
