Alanis T. Montalvo Montalvo is a member of the Social Media team at Her Campus at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez. She is a second-year university student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Microbiology, with the goal of becoming a radiologist in the future.
During her high school years, Alanis served as the class historian for her senior class and was a member of the National Honor Society. She also helped establish a book club at her school and provided English tutoring to younger students. Her dedication to getting involved and contributing to her community has continued into her university life, where she is an active member of organizations such as MEDLIFE and NeuroRUM.
Outside of university, Alanis has a strong passion for music and literature. She is also part of a dance team, which allows her to release tension, express herself, and take a break from her academic responsibilities. She enjoys listening to music, reading, and writing, and is excited to be part of Her Campus. Through her work, she hopes to connect with and inspire readers while exploring topics that reflect her interests and experiences.
