Abbie Loewen

Abbie Loewen is a first-year student at the University of Virginia, originally from Denver, Colorado. Abbie is currently planning on majoring in history or political philosophy, policy, and law, and she is on the pre-law track, hoping to eventually pursue a career in the legal field.

At UVA, Abbie is involved in a wide range of activities. She is a writer for the Her Campus chapter at the University of Virginia, where she regularly contributes articles on college life, current events, beauty, and wellness. She is also an editor for the Virginia Undergraduate Law Review and an active member of Smart Women Securities and the Outdoors Club.

In her free time, Abbie enjoys trying new food spots around Charlottesville, hiking in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, and reading books (mostly historical fiction and non-fiction). She also enjoys shopping, listening to country music, and spending quality time with her friends. Her favorite TV shows include Friends, Gossip Girl, West Wing, and just about any kind of cooking show.
