Hello! My name is Aarushi Khanna and I am a sophomore in college. I am working towards being a healthcare professional! One of my greatest goals is to aid underserved communities all around the world. In addition, I am an advocate for menstrual equity. I've worked with the PERIOD org., I'm part of two PERIOD chapters, and I'm an ambassador with the Pad Project.
Some of my greatest projects include a film with global ambassadors, a donation drive for an ambassador in Uganda, and the introduction of HB 1221- a bill working to expand menstrual education in Virginia.
Outside of advocacy, I love creating content and trying out the newest skincare/fashion trends. As a Bubble Ambassador and College Fashionista Community Member, I’ve been exploring a whole new world of beauty! I strive to use my platform for positivity no matter where I go. Even through my content creation, it is important for me to talk about messages like body positivity and self-love.
I am grateful to be part of the Her Campus team amongst other inspiring individuals who are improving the lives of others everyday!
