My name is Aaddison Dunbar, and I am a first-year student at The University of Alabama studying Business Management with a minor in Public Relations. I am originally from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where I graduated from Blackman Collegiate Academy, a college-preparatory program. Throughout high school, I developed a strong interest in communication, creativity, leadership, and personal development. I challenged myself through advanced coursework, cheerleading, and a senior Capstone project focused on helping young people develop independence and navigate the transition into adulthood. These experiences helped shape my interest in understanding people, expressing ideas, and creating opportunities for myself and others.
Outside of the classroom, I am passionate about creativity, beauty, fashion, social media, and sports. I enjoy creating TikTok content that reflects my personality, everyday experiences, and life as a college student. Through content creation, I hope to build a community where young women feel comfortable being themselves while figuring out who they are and what they want from life. I am also interested in sports media and hope to eventually help create more spaces where women’s sports receive the attention and representation they deserve.
I would describe myself as imaginative, expressive, and curious about the world around me. I enjoy reading, journaling, spending time with the people I love, experimenting with creative ideas, and finding small ways to make everyday life more meaningful. As I continue my college journey, I hope to combine my interests in business, public relations, sports, and media into a career that allows me to be both creative and impactful. Most importantly, I want my work to encourage other young women to embrace their individuality, pursue their goals, and confidently create a life that feels authentic to them.
