These Zodiac Signs Are Most Likely To Abandon Society And Live In the Woods

Wait, read before you go! Today, we’re talking about the zodiac signs most likely to abandon society and live in the woods. In Signs Of The Times, Her Campus gets all of the dirty details about the signs directly from astrologers. Today, astrologer Linda Furiate shares which three signs are most likely to live a life off the grid.

I often fantasize about living off the grid. When life gets too hectic and my anxiety skyrockets, I like to picture myself living in some remote cabin off the coast of Maine with three dogs, some smutty BookTok books, and a never-ending supply of mac and cheese…or something like that.

But whenever (let’s be real, if ever) I receive my own call to the wild, chances are I’ll bow out before stepping outside of my cozy, heated apartment. While a life off of the grid seems like a dream, I’m simply too much of a cushy Gen-Z to give up my knowledge of TikTok trends for the rest of my life.

However, there are some star signs that may actually take the plunge into the whole woodland nymph aesthetic—and actually choose to abandon society fully to live a life in the woods. Sound like you? Keep reading to find out the three signs most likely to abandon society to live in the woods:

Taurus:

While this Earth sign is no stranger to peace, the protective instincts of a Taurus will make them protect their possessions above all else. Combine that with their free-spirited, stubborn, and bohemian nature, you’ll have a recipe for a sign likely to live a life off the grid.

According to astrologer Linda Furiate, “When Taurus feels as though they may experience a monetary loss, their first instinct is to protect their assets and sense of survival. With their innate ability to build anything, Taurus may easily seek comfort outside of society, knowing that they can structure a life that will offer them all the comforts they desire without the fear or threat of something being taken from them.”

We’re right there with ya when you take the leap into your whole woodland nymph fantasy, Taurus! Just keep in touch with us somehow…like with a carrier pigeon.

Virgo:

It’s natural for Virgos to take on too much: it’s in their nature! That’s why this Earth sign may dream of a life away from all of the everyday anxieties, and might even take the plunge into a life in the woods.

“Virgo is at his or her best when they can stick to a simple routine that will offer them peace of well-being,” Furiate says.  “As a natural organizer, Virgo will often know exactly what is needed to survive and thrive in a less materialist environment.”

Take that wilderness break, Virgo! You deserve a life of rest and relaxation.

Aquarius:

Finally, it should be of no surprise that the free-spirited and fluid Aquarius finishes up our list. If anyone is cut out for a life off the grid, it would be this adventure air sign.

“Aquarius is known for their humanitarian desires and need to express their likeminded thoughts,” Furiate tells Her Campus. “When the intensity of society begins to short circuit their flow of energy, Aquarius will seek to abandon the minds of others, appearing aloof in their desire to relate. Aquarius may run off to the woods for a while, learn what they might and once recharged, they may easily bring those skills back into society as a mean to share their wealth of knowledge.”

Go live that off grid dream, Aquarius. I know you’re cut out for it.
