This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

Finals are over, you graduated, and you’re applying to your first jobs out of college. What a whirlwind the past few months have been, huh? It probably feels like you were just packing up to move onto campus for the first time, and now – suddenly – you’re a young adult, getting ready for another adventure.

As exciting as it may feel and as ready as you may be for this next chapter, the changes that are happening are also kind of intimidating. But, don’t let the unfamiliar scare you – instead, embrace them, and remind yourself that it’s okay to not know what your next step is. Almost every 20-something experiences the same feelings, but don’t worry: with the right tools and the right people around you, you’re going to figure it all out.

But, if you aren’t sure where to begin, start by getting inspo from three women who are also navigating adulthood – and they’re doing it with Bumble. ICYMI, Bumble isn’t just an app to form romantic relationships. With Bumble BFF, Bumble Bizz, and Bumble Date, you have a whole community of connections waiting for you.

So, what are you waiting for?! Check out how you, too, can use Bumble to help you navigate  this next chapter of your life!

MAKING NEW FRIENDS AS AN ADULT

Remember how easy it was to make friends as children? If you liked the same color as the kid sitting next to you, BOOM! You were instant besties. But, as we get older, making new friends isn’t as simple. We all have less time to devote to hanging out, have different interests, and are literally always tired from our responsibilities as an adult.

When Audrey’s friends were moving to a new city, though, they refused to let their busy adult responsibilities get in the way of making new connections, and instead, turned to Bumble to help establish new friendships.

“I know a few people who have used Bumble BFF because they had moved to a new city during the pandemic and didn’t have a natural way of meeting people,” Audrey said. “It helped introduce them to people they may not have gotten the chance to meet.”

Michandra relates to using Bumble BFF to meet new people and offers some advice for those seeking to make new friends with the app. “One piece of advice I would give to someone who is struggling to form friendships in adulthood would be to put themselves out there [on Bumble],” Michandra said. “You literally would never know who would be willing to connect with you.”

When Juliette first started using Bumble, she downloaded the app to find romantic relationships. However, when she was exploring the different modes – including Bumble Bizz, Bumble Date, and Bumble BFF – she ended up matching, connecting and chatting with her now-BFF by using Bumble’s friendship mode.

“I originally downloaded Bumble to use as a dating app,” Juliette said. “[But] throughout my time on Bumble, I have also loved Bumble BFF. In fact, I actually met my best friend on Bumble BFF last year in California.”

So, even if you feel like you’re the only one who’s having trouble making friends as an adult: don’t worry, you aren’t! Download Bumble to connect with new people in your area, and find a friend with both a similar schedule and similar interests. New friends are quite literally around the corner.

ESTABLISHING WHO YOU ARE IN YOUR 20s

Business major. Club soccer. Journalism minor. Sophomore. President of Greek Life. Intern.

When you’re in college, you’re given a lot of titles. But, when you graduate from college or move on to your next chapter in life, it’s easy to feel lost and ask yourself, “Who am I now?” and “What are the new words and titles that describe me?”

When setting up your Bumble profile, you have the freedom to explore and show yourself off by writing a short bio, adding photos that represent you, and even answering fun prompts like what your ideal BFF date is, and what your favorite quality in a person is, among other questions. One of the most popular ways to express yourself on Bumble is through your music taste.

“I always make sure my “Top Artists” [on Spotify] are updated to show my musical taste and personality. Music says so much about a person, and I love to be able to find new music through people,” Audrey said.

For Michandra, she thinks her Spotify music highlights make her stand out the most. “I think it shows how diverse my music taste is.”

In addition to Juliette sharing that she loves music—and choosing to add photos to her profile that she feels “confident and beautiful in”—she also includes that she “loves classic 80s movies” to express who she is and find people who share similar passions.

So, whether you’re an introvert or an extrovert,  or whether you prefer yoga over spin classes, Bumble helps you to find your people—while allowing you to proudly show yourself off and establish exactly who you are.

DATING DURING AND POST-COLLEGE

No matter if you’re looking for a long-term relationship or a quick fling for the spring, dating during college and after graduation isn’t easy. Similar to the struggles of making friends as an adult, it’s tricky to meet people the old-fashioned way – which is exactly why the modern-day solutions (like finding matches on Bumble!) are becoming more and more popular, and making it so much easier to meet your next partner.

“I think that Bumble has the most appealing and attractive layout for a dating app,” Juliette said, expressing that she feels safe when she can communicate and initiate conversations. “[With Bumble], I have learned how to communicate in a more efficient way and how to not be afraid when flirting.”

Audrey expresses that she has a similar boost of confidence when using Bumble, and doesn’t shy away from going on dates.

Just like Audrey and Juliette know, dating – even if you’re looking for your forever match on Bumble – doesn’t have to be so serious. It’s simply an easy way to make connections.

Between gaining confidence in dating, friendships, and career, plus helping to proudly show off who they are, Bumble has helped Audrey, Juliette, and Michandra when navigating their adulthood. They encourage you to do the same.
