Summer is the time for vacations and relaxation. Summer is also the perfect time for all of our favorite artists to tour the country. In the Summer of 2022, the concert lineup is filled with so many of our favorite artists from Olivia Rodrigo to Justin Bieber. I wanted to highlight some of my favorite artists that are touring around the world this summer.

1. Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Rodrigo took over the music charts last year with her debut album Sour. From “Drivers License” to “Favorite Crime”, she has become one of the most famous pop artists in the world. With already 3 Grammys after only having 1 album out, tickets to the “Sour Tour” were very hard to get. Within 5 min of the pre-sale, every tour date was sold out within seconds. If you were lucky enough to get tickets to the “Sour Tour”, you are in for a night filled with so many surprises.

2. The Weeknd and Doja CAt

Ever since The Weeknd’s iconic 2021 Super Bowl halftime show, fans of his have been wondering when the artist would finally announce his tour for his album, After Hours. Now with his new album, Dawn FM, he is heading across North America and not alone, the star is taking Doja Cat with him. Ever since Doja’s recent album, Planet Her, fans have been speculating when the artist will head out on tour. With so many Tik-Tok’s of Doja’s live performances going viral, her stage presence will make a great addition to “The After Hours Tour”.

3. 5 seconds of Summer

5 Seconds of Summer have been a fan-favorite band since 2014. With hit after hit, the group continues to grow in popularity with every new release. In 2020, they released their 4th studio album “Calm”. This summer, the band will be heading across the globe for their “Take My Hand Tour”. The title of the tour is to honor their new song “Take My Hand”. With this band touring across the world, everyone will get the experience of their favorite childhood boy bands.

4. Shawn Mendes

In 2020, Shawn Mendes dropped his 4th studio album, Wonder, in 2020. Ever since the album was released fans have been patiently waiting for Shawn to announce tour dates for his album. “Wonder: The World Tour” will take Shawn around the world starting in June. Not only will Shawn be touring on his own, but Tate McRae will also be joining him as his opening act. With both having so many hits, “Wonder: The World Tour” is sure to be a memorable concert experience.

5. Lady GagA

Back in the Spring of 2020, Gaga announced her 6th solo studio album, Chromatica. The media went crazy, this being her first album in 4 years and especially after her success with A Star Is Born in 2019. Before Chromatica was released, she announced she will be doing 6 special shows across the globe and called it “Chromatica Ball”. However, with the quarantine in 2020, the show was canceled with no postponed date, but now 2 years later she is back and added 9 more cities to the tour. After a long 2 years of waiting, many fans are excited to finally take a trip to Chromatica.
