Night Life: Here’s the Best Summer Concerts Coming to Boston

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Lasell chapter.

I love going to concerts, and for me, summer is the best time to go! Finding an outfit is always easier, and waiting in line doesn’t mean my fingers are going to fall off. Boston is a great place to find some really cool shows and awesome venues. If you’re looking for a show to go to this summer, here are a few you might want to check out!

  1. Boston Calling Music Festival

Starting off right at the end of May, Boston Calling is a three day weekend festival located in the Harvard Athletic Complex. This year, the show is headlined by Nine Inch Nails, The Strokes, and  Metallica. Other acts include Glass Animals, Avril Lavigne, and Orville Peck. Boston Calling has been around since 2013, and general admission tickets range from $129 to $369, depending on how many days you might want to attend.

  1. T-Pain

We all know some of T-Pain’s classic hits, and I can only imagine how awesome it would be to hear them live! He is bringing his music to Boston on June 4th at House of Blues, which is one of my favorite venues. Depending on where you end up choosing to sit, this could be a cheap concert with tickets starting off at around $35, but if you’re a huge fan, it can range up to around $310 for general admission by the stage.

  1. Justin Bieber

If this concert wasn’t your elementary school dream, then you’re just lying. Justin Bieber is bringing his Justice World Tour to Boston on June 20th and is playing at TD Garden. Tickets for this show, since most are resale, are pretty pricey, ranging from the $400s up to $3000! But hey, if this show is your dream, why let your life savings stop it.

  1. Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe

If you’re into rock music, seeing Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe this summer, along with special guests Poison and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, then this show is a must see! The star-studded group is blessing Fenway Park on both August 5th and 6th. This show is one of many in Fenway’s concert series, and tickets range from around $150 to $250.
