We all love to know what other people think of our zodiac signs. It has become somewhat of a trend to provide your opinions on how to rank them or attribute characteristics to them. So, I thought I’d hop on the trend. Here are the color gradients I, a Libra, would give each Zodiac sign and why.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

I am giving Capricorns a gradient that goes from light sand to sky blue. My experience with these signs has always been that they change based on the company. Capricorns to move as freely as sand yet they seem to have their head in the clouds, explaining the sky blue. Capricorns often gain the reputation of being dedicated to work; I find this to be accurate but I also see how this can be the only thing they focus on.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

An Aquarius radiates gray to sea-foam green energy. Every Aquarius I have met keeps themselves grounded in structure and rules, therefore resulting in a gray tone. I chose the gradient going to a sea-foam green because I find the color to be a little pretentious, a common trait for Aquarians.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

This sign is very dynamic in the sense that they are not only deep and emotional, like most water signs, but they also have a bright and goofy side. I find this sign to be either too mellow that it comes across as uncaring or so goofy that its hard to tell if they are serious about anything. This is why I would give Pisces a deep teal to bright orange.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

If you have met or befriended an Aries, you will know it. They are extremely fiery and spontaneous, making me give them bright red to black. They will either be the life of the party and very loud, or they will bring those around them down. I have had many good experiences with Aries, but when things go wrong, they go really wrong. I chose black to signify this “dark side” of them.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Taureans tend to be very deep and protective over the people closest to them, family or friends. This can be in a way that brings people together or in a way that appears closed off. Trust is a very big thing for them. I have chosen to give Taurus forrest green to sage green to represent the solid, steady ground a Taurus can be. I stuck with two of the same color to show that a Taurus stays true to their self but can lack dynamism.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

True to the symbol of the twins, I chose the colors bright green to white because I find the colors so different, but correspond well. This sign has so much going on in their head and in their relationships that they can appear uncaring, explaining the white. The neon green shows the extreme feelings a Gemini can have, either from anxiety or excitement. Instead of seeing the sign as “two-faced,” I see them as dynamic.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

This sign is the most emotional and trusting, which is why I gave it light blue to royal blue. Most Cancers find themselves being extremely sensitive to emotional situations, however these situations can be attributed to immediately trusting the wrong people. I think that Cancers use their emotions in every situation, whether that be to show they care or to manipulate situations around themselves.

Leo (July 23-August 22)

I am giving Leos peach to bright yellow. The peachy tones are for their fun, playful side that comes out when you become close friends with a Leo. The bright yellow is for the loud, sometimes over-stimulating side of Leos that comes out in a group setting. This sign is a great friend and ally to have because their passion makes them willing to do anything for you.

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

The best way to describe a Virgo is with determinism and practicality. I attribut this sign with a gradient from gold to purple. The gold is a symbol of achievement and I think that is the best descriptor of a Virgo. Purple is a sign of elegance and deepness which comes from someone who is determined enough to achieve what they want. With celebrity examples of Zendaya and Andrew Garfield, it is easy to also attribute talent to them as well.

Libra (September 23-October 22)

As a Libra, it is a little hard to be objective. However, it is a common trait for this sign is to wear your heart on your sleeve. Libras are know to constantly be open to and searching for love. Therefore, I’ve given this sign light purple to light pink. I think there is a sadness to being a Libra that comes from constant heartbreak, which explains the purple color. However, The pink comes from the materiality and joy that is also seen from Libras. There always is a balance for Libras, in this case, it is a balance of joy and sadness. Oh, and indecisiveness.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

Scorpios are very emotional, but those emotions are often the root of something deeper. This sign is a deep purple to navy blue to symbolize the complexity behind Scorpio emotions. I have seen how a Scorpio can present one emotion, maybe irritation or anger, but really be feeling hurt or betrayed. These colors are also colors associated with bruising and I think a lot of Scorpios have unresolved trauma that affects how they treat others.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

Most Sagittarius people find themselves to appreciate status and how others view them. I see them as a purple to sunset orange gradient. I picked purple because it is associated with royalty and I think this is a good representation of their need for approval or to be seen as important. The shade of orange the gradient goes to shows the fiery energy that a Sag still has. This gradient shows the complexity of a Sagittarius.
