If you are your partner are mostly known for lounging around on your date nights, you might be a “Chill Couple”, and the whole point of being a chill couple means you’re down for anything on date night…. So let me help you decide!

  1. Chili’s

Yeah, I know Chili’s might get some unwarranted hate, but TBH, the 2 for $25 deal is kinda unbeatable. The vibes are great, and this lowkey dining option is perfect for when you are wanting to sit down without any pressure.

2. Five Guys

I promise this article isn’t just a restaurant recommendation list, however, the chill couple is probably fine with just eating out then chilling at home. Five Guys is one of my personal favorites, and you can’t go wrong with splitting large fries and a shake.

3. Drive In Movie

Most major cities now offer an abundance of drive-ins after the COVID pandemic hit. This is a perfect date for the movie-loving couple who want to get out of the house for a few hours. Bonus points if you bring Five Guys to the movie.

4. Gaming

Okay, this one might only appeal to a certain type of couple, but with the amazing variety of co-op games available this makes the perfect date night. My personal recommendations for this one include Overcooked 2, Divinity: Original Sin 2, and, It Takes Two. (Pst… The first two are included on the very short Steam sale, so get them NOW if you’re interested!) This games will test your ability to work as partners and bring lots of fun along the way.

5. Your Local Park

Here in Austin, TX was have the incredible Zilker park. You can hang out with your partner, paint, do crafts, take your pets, or bring a picnic. This experience can (obviously) be recreated at any local park. It’s a good way to disconnect from the internet and spend some quality time outside with your partner. Not to mention, this option is free.

Once again, just hanging with your date and watching movies or chilling on the couch is totally valid, and trust me I pick it 9/10 times, however if you ever want to switch it up, you know where to find me… (in this article).
