PSA: It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for – McDonald’s Shamrock Shake is back on the menu. Yes, I am lactose intolerant. But for one month a year, I really couldn’t care less. McDonald’s Shamrock Shake is the most fabulous, sweet, minty, creamy, smooth, delicious drink on the face of the Earth to the extent where I feel the need to write an entire article about it. One of the things that makes this menu item so special is it’s only offered around the time of St. Patrick’s Day. Consequently, there’s no time to waste. If you don’t get at least one a week the entire time they’re offered, you’re wasting a fabulous opportunity. Your summer fitness goals can wait and your healthy diet plan will still be there when this iconic treat is no longer being offered. I’m not even usually a huge fan of McDonald’s, but no one can resist the allure of snatching a Shamrock Shake and large fry out of that drive-through window. If you’re feeling especially adventurous, you can even dip a few fries in the shake to get that sweet and salty effect. I don’t know why you’re still sitting here reading this article – get in your car now and drive to your nearest McDonald’s for one of America’s most classic celebrations of spring!
