Pearls are making a comeback

Pearlcore is definitely a trend that is coming back in 2022, and it’s coming back better than ever! Pearlcore is essentially just wearing pearls, there’s not much to it. The only thing is, the trend extends far from just necklaces and earrings, there’s even a pearl pen that you can see below. Check out these ten, totally affordable pieces to support that faux-elegant lifestyle we all want.

Glass Pearl Necklace

First off, we have this gorgeous necklace from your favorite store, Target. It’s only $15 and is such a steal. The nice thing about this necklace is that it comes in gold and silver, for those who prefer one metal over another. Check it out here!

Pearl Earring Set

This Sterling Silver Glass and Pearl Post Stud Earring set from Target is the cutest. I’m a sucker for earring packs, especially because I have four lobe piercings, so it’s nice when earrings are already paired together. I like that this one isn’t in your face too much and it does have a piece that’s not even pearl related, making it not too flashy! The pearl with the chain attached to it is my favorite, it seems like chain pieces on earrings are coming back too.

Faux Duo Enamel and Pearl Huggie Hoop Earrings

I lied, hoops have my heart more than earring packs. You will never catch me without hoops, and if you do, I am probably sick. Pearls + Hoops? You got me again, Target! Check out the Faux Duo Enamel and Pearl Huggie Hoop Earrings set here. This set is super cute and comes in three colors: rust, white, and black. My personal favorite is the rust, it brings such a cute pop of color.

Faux Pearl Beaded Choker

Hear me out, Shein has it’s pros and cons. It’s honestly what we get from ordering online so much, at such a cheap price. This Faux Pearl Beaded Choker is only $3.50 and I have it in my cart currently for my next SHEIN haul. It’s so simple and will honestly look great with almost everything. I can see myself at Hangout Fest this summer sporting this chic piece, or just hanging out with some friends while wearing all black for a super elegant look.

Yellow Gold Pearl Ring

If you thought an Amazon steal wouldn’t be in here, think again! I am all for this dainty ring, especially being someone who is always wearing some type of ring. Check out this Yellow Gold Pearl Ring here. What I love most about this is that it’s not super in your face like some of the other products, but just enough to show your support of the comeback for the trend.

Puff Sleeve Pearls Beaded Top

I have personally never worn an article of clothing that has pearls on it, but this top caught me off guard and I knew it would be perfect. I love puff sleeves, it brings texture to just any plain shirt, but add some pearls on it and it’s all the more elegant. It would be hard to dress this one down, but you can definitely have more of a casual look with your favorite pair of jeans. I can also seeing this look paired with some plaid Chico pants for a trendy business look. Check out this top that comes in red, black, and blue here!

Pearl top Ballpoint Pen

As promised previously, our lovely ballpoint pen that meets our pearlcore trend. Do y’all remember that fuzzy pink pen that Cher has in Clueless? This pearl ballpoint pen and I would be exactly that together. I love that you can engrave your name on the pen as well, so it’s even more magical. Check out the customizable pearl pen here.

Dainty Pearl Choker Necklace

Something that is currently at the top of my wishlist is this dainty pearl choker necklace from Etsy. I love how basic it is and is the perfect amount of elegant that I need! I don’t like necklaces that are super heavy so I know this one would be a perfect match for me.

Pearl Nose Stud

This is not something that I love a whole lot, mainly because I love super simple studs, but if you’re REALLY into the idea of pearlcore and want to sport it in your nose jewelry, this one is for you! I like how dainty it is in comparison to others that have seen. The great thing about the pearl nose stud is that it could also be used as a cartilage piercing!

Pura Vida Bracelets Pearl Headband

Last but not least, we have our Blair Waldorf contribution. This pearl headband from Pura Vida Bracelets is so simple but really pulls any outfit together. I like how small it is in width, it doesn’t take up half your head so it’s super easy to wear with curls or straight hair and you don’t have to worry too much about fixing it every five minutes.
