When it comes to traveling, it is nice to discover somewhere new. There are so many destinations to pick from. If you want a city in Europe that always has something going on, London is the place for you. You will never be bored in London as there is always a lot to do there. Check out four places to go during your trip to London.
London Eye
If you want to get an amazing view of the whole city, the London Eye is the place to go. The London Eye gives you a 360 view of the entire city. It is a great way to see the city on a cold day. Going around the whole wheel will take around 30 minutes. Getting to the top, you will see a breathtaking view of London. You can go at any time of the day, but I personally recommend going during the sunset to see London during the day and night time. Whether you go with your friends, family or alone you will have a fantastic time!
Camden
A fun place to go in London is Camden Town. This area of London is filled with markets, food, and live music. The buildings in Camden are filled with different art designs. This is a fun day trip idea with your friends as there is so much to do. Camden is also an excellent location for pictures as it is super different from the rest of London.
Oxford Street
If you are planning to go shopping during your trip to London, you should go to Oxford Street. Oxford Street is one of Europe’s busiest shopping streets. It has over 300 stores filled with big well-known brands and local brands. Oxford Street is very long and busy so I recommend separating two to three hours there to be able to go to all of the stores you want to.
Buckingham Palace
A place most tourists go to when in London is Buckingham Palace. Although none of the royal family lives there, it is still a royal working residence. Many people do not know this, but you can go inside the palace and do a self-guided tour between July and October. In front of the palace, there are the queen’s guards, which tourists love seeing. Right next to Buckingham Palace there are beautiful gardens and parks.
Harry Potter
There are so many different places that Harry Potter fans can go to while in London. Some popular locations that Harry Potter fans go to are the studio tour and Platform 9¾.
