We have reached the middle of the second season of Euphoria and the costume designer, Heidi Bivens, did not come to play. Season 2’s outfits are pulled from designers like Prada and Miu Miu, as well as independent designers like Aiden Euan. Heidi Bivens decided that for season 2, the looks would be way more over the top and glamourous, whereas in season 1, she was pulling outfits that the girls may actually be able to afford. I like the new approach to season 2, because we get to see our dream closets on screen. All the characters are decked out in custom and designer looks. It’s how we all wish we could dress if we were able to afford it.
If you’re wondering where all the outfits are from, you have come to the right place. Since I love the clothes in this season so much, I have been looking for ways I could re-create them. I will be going over the looks for the New Year’s Eve party since all the characters were dressed their best.
Maddy
Maddy’s New Year’s Eve look was designed by Aiden Euan. Euan is the designer of the small Mexican independent fashion brand Akna. The dress and gloves were designed by this brand. Akna has not only designed Maddy’s New Year’s eve dress, but many other looks she wears on the show. The black dress has a cut out on top of the chest and two more on the hips. Sold separately are the gloves that match the dress. The dress retails for $185, while the gloves retail for, $45. Her shoes are Amina Muaddi x AWGE LSD lace-up sandals. They retail for around $1,950.
