The Christmas season is undoubtedly the most wonderful time of the year, between the beautiful lights, nostalgic Christmas music, holiday cheer all around—and the presents are a plus too! Being an only child, I have always been very fortunate in that department. Not to make a total influencer out of myself here, but I am very grateful for everything I got and am not trying to brag or be show-offy in any way. We all know giving gifts is superior, but I personally love hearing about what gifts other people received for Christmas. Now without further ado, here are some of my Christmas gift highlights!

  1. Projector

These might seem corny to some, but I absolutely love this thing. It is so calming to watch the beautiful colors light up my ceiling at night; it looks like I am underwater. It also has built in white noise options such as rain and ocean waves. Overall, I recommend this product if you are looking for a step up from those LED lights everyone has.

  1. Boots

I am a sucker for a black bootie and these are just an elevated version. I got the black ones with the gold chain type thing around the ankle and they are absolutely adorable! They elevate any outfit with the gold accessory. These will become a staple in my closet for sure.

  1. Kate Spade Bag

When I tell you that I am in love with this bag, I really mean I am in love with this bag. It is such an adorable pale pink color and is perfect for carrying around my laptop. I was looking for a nice bag I could carry my laptop in on campus and this will surely do the job in style.

  1. Smiley Slippers

These slippers are trending right now, and for good reason. They are so comfortable and soft. The smiley face always makes me smile. They are just the perfect slipper in every way. Definitely worth the hype.

5. Jacket

I am obsessed with this jacket. These kinds of jackets are very popular right now too, and for good reason. It is so soft and really stylish, it is a jacket but looks like a shirt so you can keep it on as part of your outfit without wearing a bulky coat. I highly recommend getting a jacket like this.

6. Claw Clips

Two words: claw clips. These are an extremely trendy item right now, and I was skeptical but I asked for them because I was curious. Now that I have them, I can tell you they are worth all of the hype and I am obsessed with them. They provide such an easy and cute hairstyle that takes two seconds to do. They are life changing.

7. Bagel Guillotine

I am well aware of how random this is, but if you are anything like me and love bagels, this is a game changer. I have wanted one of these for a while and I can’t lie, I was maybe a little too excited when I opened it. Cutting bagels is the bane of my existence. They never turn out even, I accidentally cut myself, there’s crumbs everywhere, a mess. But, with this beautiful device, the bagel is perfectly sliced in just seconds. It is truly a godly invention.

8. Victoria’s Secret Robe

This robe is luxurious and incredibly soft. It is pretty much everything you could want in a casual robe. My boyfriend got this for me along with matching slippers and I was genuinely so impressed that he thought of it on his own. He did great!

9. LANY “GGBBXX” Album

If you read my last article, you know that I am in love with the band LANY, so this will come as no surprise. I started my vinyl collection last year, so it’s only right.

10. Taylor Swift Red Cardigan

I am a Taylor Swift stan before anything else, and I simply could not miss out on this cardigan after not buying the Folklore one. However, Taylor Swift’s merch team is perhaps the worst merch team of all time and this cardigan that I ordered in October has still not even been shipped yet. Do better, Taylor Swift’s merch team.

11. COVID

Finally, the last thing I received shortly after the new year was COVID! Call me ungrateful, but I was not happy to receive this late Christmas gift. Fortunately, I had a mild case but I quarantined for five days in my room and it was extremely boring. I hope everyone reading had a safe, happy, and healthy holiday season and new year. Stay safe out there!
